What do I have to pay attention to when building a barn? Which cows are suitable for fostered calf rearing? How many calves are usually with a foster cow?
On Wednesday, 7 July 2021, from 8 pm to 10 pm, Silvia Ivemeyer and Christel Simantke from the University of Witzenhausen, Germany, will give a brief overview of the topic. Afterwards, three farmers will present how they implement fostered calf rearing on their farms. There will also be plenty of room for exchanging experiences and asking questions during the seminar.
Participation in the online seminars is free of charge, as it is funded by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. The seminar will be in German.
